The Pixel Buds A-Series Is Going International Soon

Google is gearing up to launch the Pixel Buds A true wireless earbuds in the international market. Expanding the reach of one of its latest audio products beyond the borders of North America. Keep in mind that this doesn't mean Google is going to release the Pixel Buds A to every country within the international market right away.

But it does appear to be starting off with more than just a few new regions. In addition to the US and Canada which got the earbuds at the beginning of the Summer, the Pixel Buds A are coming to several new countries. This includes the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and Australia. All with their own respective price points. Some of which match the cost of the earbuds in the US.

The Pixel Buds A-Series goes international next Wednesday

As for when you'll be able to buy the earbuds, the release date is exactly one week away from now, August 18. officially the earbuds will go on sale next Wednesday which is August 25.

Worth noting is that availability will be different for certain retailers in each region. As some retailers won't be selling them until later in the year. And some countries will only get the option for the Clearly White earbuds. Australia for example will only get the Clearly White upon next week's launch, with a retail price of AUD$159.

But Japan will get both colors, and pre-orders start tomorrow, with a retail price of ¥11,900. Actual sales start will start on August 26. All of the countries in Europe listed above will get both colors for €99. The UK as well gets both colors, and will have a retail price of £99. So for the most part Google is keeping some continuity with the cost of the Pixel Buds A-Series for its international markets. Despite a few outliers.

Google discontinued the Pixel Buds 2 back on July 20. Which means these are now the only available option if you want a pair of true wireless earbuds from Google. Considering they have most of the functionality though, and at a lower price point, that's likely not a bad thing.
