WWII RTS Hit Company Of Heroes Launches On Android Next Month
Aug 20th 2020, 22:15, by Android Headlines

Company Of Heroes is a big name in the RTS genre for PC, and now it's coming to Android and iPhones in September.

As an RTS game, Company of Heroes is heavily based on strategical movements and decisions throughout each match. And it's a perfect fit for the strategy genre. Which is pretty packed on Android devices.

In the game, you're dumped right into the thick of World War II. And you'll be given the power to command your own army of soldiers, tanks, and more as you fight for the victory of the allied forces.

Company Of Heroes will be available on Android on September 10

Fans of of the series and of the strategy genre will be able to dive into the game soon. As Feral Interactive (the publisher of the game on mobile devices) says the title will be released for Android on September 10.

That's just three weeks away from now. So the wait isn't long. Worth noting though is that this won't be a cheap game.

When it comes to cost, it will be on the high end. You can pick it up for $14, which is a lot more than most mobile games generally run for. Especially considering that free-to-play games heavily outweigh paid titles.

The good news though is that $14 gets you a fully-fledged game. There are no ads, and no micro transactions. So you pay a one-time fee of $14 to buy the game and you get all of the content that comes with it. No DLC or anything else is required to get the full experience.

Something which is pretty rare this day and age. And not just for mobile devices, but for every other platform as well.

The game is officially supported on a handful of phones

Because of the nature of Android, there are loads of phones out there running on the operating system.

Developers and publishers aren't able to test every device under the sun. The same is true with Feral Interactive's release of Company Of Heroes. Officially, it'll be supported on a handful of Android smartphones.

This includes the Google Pixel 2 or later, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S8 or later, the Galaxy Note 8 or later, and the OnePlus 5T, 6T, 7, and 8 series phones. It's also been tested on and officially supports the Sony Xperia 1 and XZ2 Compact, The HTC U12+, the LG V30+, Motorola Z2 Force, Nokia 8, Xiaomi Mi 6, Mi 9, and Mi 9T, and the Xiaomi Pcophone F1 and Redmi Note 8 pro.

Something to keep in mind is that these are just the devices that are officially supported. That does not mean without a shadow of a doubt that other phones not listed won't work. If you're interested in picking the game up, it's highly recommended to grab it and see if everything works out ok.

Worst case scenario, you can utilize the refund period and just return the game for your money back if it doesn't launch or it has immediate problems. That being said, with no official support, Feral Interactive is not guaranteeing that the game will work perfectly.

You can pre-register for the game on the Play Store right now if you're interested.
