For rest and relaxation, Avon Lodge has a well-equipped hairdressing salon, garden and patio area where residents can relax when the weather allows and a café. We have a wide range of activities to suit our residents are catered for including group and individually based interests and hobbies. Our activities organisers ensure there is a varied programme for social and leisure pursuits. The home can accommodate up to 62 residents and provides a full range of services. Join our team? We are looking for like-minded people to join our Healthcare home family. People who have a caring nature, patience and a passion for providing excellence in care. Ideally you will have worked as Care Assistant or indeed in the Healthcare industry before but have the right attitude and a big heart which is the perfect starting point, we will support you to develop your skills and knowledge. What will the role involve? The role of the Care Assistant is to Support our residents with their everyday needs ensuring emotional and social needs are met. Promoting independence, choice and dignity and assisting where needed with personal care activities such as washing, dressing and meal times. You will be part of daily recreational social activities within groups and one to one. Accurate and maintenance of record keeping is essential to ensure the correct care delivery is being delivered and once you have been fully trained and inducted you will also be a mentor for new team members joining. Additional Information We have Full time positions for our Care Assistant Day Role. Please note; these positions do include alternate weekend working.
